Abigail, we are so excited to create with you. In our world, only about 20% of the work we do are things we truly love. This shoot is part of that 20%.
Loved your energy and concept. Here are our thoughts on it.
These will be a series of somewhat surreal images to give the world the first look at not only you as a tattoo artist but also all the pieces of your personality (that you want to display).
We will shoot in the evening (sunset till dark) and cover a gamut of scenes:
Scene 1: Spit Take
In this scene, we want to capture your initial reaction upon realizing that you have transitioned from being an apprentice to becoming a full-fledged tattoo artist.
Scene 2: Passing the Machine or Flash Sheet
This scene will emphasize the symbolic gesture of your mentor passing you the tattoo machine or a flash sheet.
Scene 3: Holding Different Flash Sheets
We'll capture you holding a range of flash sheets as a certificate.
Scene 4: Editorial Photos
These editorial-style images will feature you in various poses and settings within your tattoo shop. The focus will be on highlighting your individuality and artistic flair as a tattoo artist.
LIGHTING & STYLE
Overall Imagine these to feel pop flashy. Light surroundings with one bright harsh source of light. I hope to edit the photos to feel filmic while not losing itself to that look.
