DP GUARDIAN PROPOSAL

We are excited to work with you and create videos that push DP Guardian forward.

BRAND VIDEO

We would build your brand video to show your rich company history, mission, value proposition (differentiators), and the people who comprise your brand. 

Runtime: 90 Seconds to 2 Minutes

Deliverables: X1 Brand Video (Standard and Mobile Versions)


BACKBONE

Every video needs a backbone that drives it forward and gives the audience information. Typically video backbones are interviews or voiceovers.

Like your CompuNet reference video, I suggest using interviews with key DP Gaurdian people as the backbone of your brand video. We would cut back and forth between the interview footage and other footage (also known as B-roll)  while the audio from the interview plays. B-roll is secondary footage, often used as cutaway footage, to provide context and visual interest. This will also give the effect of a voice-over while keeping a conversational feel.

Another backbone option would be to write and record a script via voice-over while the B-roll is the only visual element. 

Lastly, we could record interviews with your key people and have them record scripted lines for voice-over. We would then use footage from the interviews and B-roll to carry the video visually. 

B-ROLL

The B-roll of your video is incredibly important in making it engaging. For your brand video, we will need to stage and film several scenes to visually represent what the backbone is communicating. 


I suggest the following:

SERVICES

A scene showing each service you provide in action. I understand that there is some sensitivity here. I have experience shooting sensitive material. 

Here are some methods we can use:

  • Zoomed-in detail shots. This will allow for rooms, signage, and people to remain anonymous.

  • Face avoidant shots. There are many creative ways to show a person but not their face in how we compose a shot. 

  • Blur masking. This is the most clunky option, but sensitive information can be masked and blurred in post-production edits. 

  • Additional Review Stakeholders. This will allow anyone concerned with the footage to review the final video and give comments on anything we may have missed. 


CLIENT INTERACTION

A scene showing the warmth and hospitality DP Gaurdian gives in client interactions. We can have another staff member or an actor represent a client in the video. 


OFFICE WORK

Two to three scenes showing the office staff working at their desk, collaborating with their coworkers, and in a group meeting. 


COMPANY ARCHIVE PHOTOS

To visually represent the past while covering DP Gaurdian’s history, we need archive photos. After we write the script or record

SERVICE VIDEOS

We would build a five-part video series on each of your services. Each video will display the highlighted service, your high-quality product/service guarantee, your ability to fix any problem client’s problem, and your consistent and professional team.

Runtime: 60 Seconds per video

Deliverables: X5 Service Videos (Standard and Mobile Versions)

BACKBONE

Due to each of the service videos being short, I would highly suggest writing a script and recording a voice-over. This will allow the video to be concise while covering all your points. 


Each of the backbone options listed in the brand video proposal are available for this video as well.

B-ROLL

All B-roll captured for the brand video would be repurposed for the service videos.

Pre Production - Kickoff meeting to May 10th

Filming and recording all media

Post Production - May 12th to May 30th

VISUAL STYLE & MUSIC

We would implement a clean, bright, standard visual style to match the DP Guardian Brand. The music would be subtle and energizing.

Brand Video Option: $3,830.00

Brand Video & Service Video Option: $4,880.00

Payment & Contract

  • After confirming the scope of work, I will send a contract. 

  • We charge 50% of a project after the contract is signed and the other 50% after we deliver the final project to you. 


Brainstorming & Planning the following

  • B-roll scenes for both videos 

  • Production day 

  • Scriptwriting or interview question prep

(I believe we could accomplish most of the brainstorming & planning in two meetings).
