Hi Garret, we are excited to create with you.
This document is built to help cast vision for this video and show how we make that a reality. We sat down with your goals and ideas and built what we think is a great fit.
Goals
Help recruits over the hurdle of a commission-only salary
Create a sense of “Fomo”
Show how believing in yourself can transform your life at Glyde.
Our Approach
We believe a 90-second video showing a Glyde solar employee working hard and then playing hard is the best way forward.
The video starts with a high energy-fast-cut montage of one of the VIP Winners (the hero of the video) knocking on doors, working at the office, and in meetings at the office. From this montage, we crash into a still moment of the same employee watching the sunset on the cruise.
We quickly show some text that explains this hero is a salesperson at Glyde Solar and won a competition to be on this cruise.
The moment lingers a little longer as we hear the hero’s voice-over share how they doubled down on themself, and now they are places they would never have thought they could be.
Then we crash into multiple high-energy, fun cruise moments, moments of the hero connecting with other winners (showing the friendships Glyde can also create in your life), and moments of reflective triumph.
Finally, the video ends with the hero staring at a house with solar panels, and then we split the screen to show the hero staring at the cruise ship. These two shots sit side by side, showing the cause and effect. We hear the hero’s voice-over one more time with a call to action to believe in yourself and join the Glyde team.
End on the Glyde Logo
Here are a few thoughts on the cruise:
If this document is approved, we will only film the footage to create this video. All moments of filming will be chosen and targeted to do so.
We will need to choose a hero for the video. This person will need to be a VIP that will be great on camera and brought into the loop before we leave.
We will need a few moments to set up shots with the hero.
The Door Knocking / Office Shoot:
This is an additional shoot we were asked to add to this project. We both agreed it would add value to the video, so we are happy to accommodate.
Due to this shoot being annexed to the original shoot, we will need to keep to a two to three-hour shoot. Both Gabe and Levi will be a part of the shoot.
To not scare potential customers, we plan to stage the door-knocking shoot with handpicked homeowners ahead of time. We will need to work together to coordinate this.
We will touch base on logistics for this shoot once we have returned from the cruise.
We would love to discuss this more in a meeting or zoom call. If you have any questions or thoughts, feel free to reach out.
We are both thankful for the opportunity and excited to make a killer video for Glyde.
