Hello Neon Pig team!
We are so thankful to create with you and feature you in a vignette at the Equinox. Here is what we are thinking.
WHAT IS A VIGNETTE?
Over all a vignette is simple, short, and visually focused. Usually, they range from 20 seconds to one minute long.
Here are some examples of vignettes we have done before:
CONCEPT
A QUIET BEGINING - The Neon Pigs
We hope to feature the beauty of you opening the office during sunrise. The little moments that set up a day. Please note while the video gallery at the Equinox has no sound, we will be sharing these videos on social media, which will have sound.
Here is how I see it in my head right now. We plan to shoot for this concept but will get other shots in case we need to re-direct in the edit.
We start with a wide shot of Colin walking up to the exterior of the office and unlocking the door. We hear the birds chirping, perhaps a car passing by, etc.
We cut to a close-up of his hands making coffee. We hear the drip and brewing.
I would love to find a couple more small moments of Colin “waking up the office.”
We then see another close-up of hands turning on the neon pig sign, but we don’t see it yet.
We cut to a close-up of Colin doodling in his notebook. We float through a few different shots of this, mostly close-ups.
Finally, we cut to a wide shot, revealing Colin doodling under the neon pig sign.

REFERENCES
We particularly love the close-ups, pacing, and structure of this reference. We think leaning into the small moments can bring beauty to this vignette.
These are visual references that show a subject creating within an office-like or interior space.
